I’ve been putting together some summer reading for my upcoming vacation for the family to listen to on the way. I use Audible.com, where I can download (usually) 2 audiobooks for about $22 a month.
For the summer reading, my wife and I decided upon 2001: A Space Odyssey, by Arthur C. Clarke. I decided to also bring along Dune, by Frank Herbert, and 1984, by George Orwell. As you can see, I’m a Sci-Fi fan.
Now, at the same time, you guys are possibly considering your own summer vacation. No summer vacation is complete without a book to read. If you are into psychology and self-help books, I would recommend Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy by David Burns. This is a good introduction to cognitive therapy, which is a top-notch and respected therapy for depression, anxiety, and a host of other issues. I sell it here. You can also look at some of the other books I sell online via Amazon here.
I hope that if you still have a vacation coming this summer, that you enjoy it. If you have already had your vacation, I hope you enjoyed it. Even if life conspired against you and you were not able to have any vacation, just take stock of any good things that happened this summer and enjoy that.
